Our signal processing solutions span conventional DSP techniques to novel operator formulations for massive, iterative, systems-of-equations solvers. Applications include SAR image formation processing, 3-D imaging, image enhancement, image exploitation, compressed sensing, and other advanced techniques.
RAI’s team has decades of experience developing high-fidelity, physics-based simulation capabilities. Our flexible modeling techniques enable efficient simulation of complex scattering phenomenology, fundamental radar effects, advanced antenna configurations, sensor errors, and other artifacts and effects.
RAI delivers advanced imaging solutions. At left is a conventional photo of Rio de Janeiro International Airport from Google Earth. At right is a high-resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image of the same scene from the Meta Orbital Effects XR1 satellite. RAI algorithms and software processed this image from raw SAR data. The coherent nature of SAR data supports numerous advanced exploitation capabilities, which are active areas of research by RAI’s engineering team.
RAI’s engineers work at the forefront of modern Open Architecture (OA) programs. These emergent hardware and software standards significantly reduce the cost of developing and maintaining advanced sensor capabilities by promoting software portability and programmability with processor upgradability across new platforms.
